The European Youth Forum is an International organisation established by National Youth Councils and International Non-Governmental Youth Organisations from all over Europe. It brings together more than 90 youth organisations.
Political representative of young people
The Youth Forum acts as the political representative of young people in the dialogue with the institutions of the European Union, the Council of Europe, the United Nations and other decision makers.
Service member organisations
The Youth Forum provides information on the latest developments in the field of youth in Europe, gathers representatives of youth organisations and produces publications to ensure a link between organisations.
Raising awareness activities
The Youth Forum organises events and circulates information to the media to attract public attention on issues concerning young people. These events are usually Europe wide campaigns, public hearings or publications (see below).
What are the Youth Forum’s fields of action?
The Youth Forum has nine priority fields of action: Social affairs, Education, Mobility, Interdependence and solidarity, Women, Youth policy and programmes/IGC, Development of democratic youth organisations, Training, Services to Member Organisations.
