The Commission has issued in October 2007 a communication entitled “Modernising social protection for greater social justice and economic cohesion: taking forward the active inclusion of people furthest from the labour market”. This communication is the 2nd stage of its consultation on active inclusion. Several Social Platform members have now responded to this consultation which was closed at the end of February 2008.
