MEP Patrizia Toia (ALDE), rapporteur of the European Parliament's own initiative report on social economy in the Employment and Social Affairs Committee, has organized a hearing on the issue on January 20 2009 (4pm to 6pm).

During this event, the content of the report will be presented and social economy actors will be given the opportunity to illustrate the reality of social economy in the European Union. European Commissioners will be invited to attend this hearing.
