Regional disparities: GDP per inhabitant ranged from 28% of the EU27 average in Bulgaria to 343% in Inner London[24/02/2011] In 2008, GDP per inhabitant in the EU ranged from 28% of the EU27 average in the in Bulgaria (region of Severozapaden) to 343% of the average in Inner London in the United Kingdom. The lowest regions in the ranking were all in Bulgaria and Romania. Among the 64 regions below the 75% level, fifteen were in Poland, seven both in the Czech Republic and Romania, six both in Bulgaria and Hungary, four both in Italy and Portugal, three both in Greece, France (all overseas departments) and Slovakia, two in the United Kingdom, one in Spain, as well as Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.
