Gender balance requirement and suggested criteria: When nominating a candidate, the last Steering Group reminded all members to take into account the following:

  • Article 17 of our internal rules requires gender balance in the composition of the Management Committee. Therefore men and women should be nominated for position in the MC.
  • It was suggested to try to balance representation in the MC between candidates from user/service providers, from the different strands (social inclusion, Fundamental Rights and Equality, services (SGI and SSGI)), from different geographic areas (in particular new member states) and from Brussels based/or not organizations.

Deadline: application should be sent to Ariella by March 15.

Process:

  • All the received and receivable applications will be sent to members of Steering Group on March 22
  • At the GA, there will be:
-Presentation of candidates
-Debate among candidates on their views of the future of Social Platform
-Election of the MC according to the Gender parity rule

We are looking forwards receiving your application!
