EDF welcomed the call for an informal EU summit on growth and employment. EDF believes that the leaders of Europe should discuss the social impact of the crisis and its consequences on fundamental rights. Therefore, they wrote a letter to President Van Rompuy to make sure he understands a European strategy without human rights will be always limited in its effect.
