Advocacy Networking Lunch (for members only)

Light lunch will be provided
The lunch is for our Social Platform members working with policy and advocacy to get to know each other and exchange ideas and experiences. At this occasion we will have an interactive exchange of views with representatives from the European Commission about how we as civil society can most successfully advocate and influence the Commission.
We will be joined by the following guests:
- Belinda Pyke, Director for Migration and Borders (DG Migration and Home Affairs)
- Chiara Adamo, Head of Unit Fundamental Rights and rights of the child (DG Justice) – replacing Paul Nemitz, Director for Fundamental Rights and Union Citizenship
- Manuela Geleng, Head of Unit Social Investment Strategy, former Acting Director of Social Affairs (DG Employment)
Previous networking lunch we invited representatives from the Council to get their view on our advocacy, read about in our blog post here, we also meet with the European Parliament to get their advice on how to better work with them.
