European Roma Grassroots Organisations Network: EU Roma Week 2018

The European Roma Grassroots Organisations (ERGO) Network together with policy-makers, experts, activists and organisations concerned with persistent anti-gypsyism in Europe is organising the third EU Roma Week in the European Parliament and other EU institutions. The week coincides with International Roma Day on 8 April.

The International Roma Day will commemorate the 47th anniversary of the first Romani Congress that was organised in London in 1971 and that marked 8 April as International Roma Day.

The #EURomaWeek2018 will take place in Brussels starting on 8 April, International Roma Day and continue until Thursday 12 April. A series of events will be organised during the week, including an event co-organised by ERGO Network: From quality education to decent employment, Antigypsyism, Theatre performance, International Roma Day commemoration and celebration with concerts.
