European Disability Forum: The Future Disability Strategy – Make your voice heard

It has been confirmed! The European Commission intends to create a Strategy on disability for 2021 onwards.
Now the real work begins. The European Disability Forum (EDF) is calling for the EU to adopt a European Disability Rights Agenda to replace the current EU Disability Strategy. We need a strong Agenda that is more ambitious that its predecessor and sets out clear targets and a budget for implementation.
But what exactly should the new Disability Rights Agenda look like? EDF is inviting you to join the European Economic and Social Committee for their high-level conference exploring what we want to see from the new Strategy, or ‘Disability Rights Agenda’.
It is a perfect opportunity to hear what plans lie ahead for its creation and to add your voice to the discussion at this crucial moment. Those not able to attend will be able to follow the event online.
