About the HYPE Project

HYPE (Youth Unified in local Ecosystems Promoting Solidarity) is a CERV funded project focusing on involving young people in fostering solidarity in their communities. The project operates within Greece and Italy, countries that have been deeply affected by the financial and refugee crises, resulting in the erosion of social ties and collective identity. By running community-led local solidarity actions and engaging youth in public dialogue, the project has been promoting a more united and resilient Europe.

The Policy Lab and Conference are an opportunity to share some of the lessons and insights gained from the project. We will showcase the success of the ‘Local Solidarity Ecosystems’ that have been kickstarted and young people will share their experience and the positive effect on their communities. It targets a multi-stakeholder audience interested in gaining insights from regional-level case-studies that feed into timely debates on social investment and social cohesion.
