HYPE

The HYPE project aims to nurture solidarity within two EU Member States — Greece and Italy— that have been deeply affected by different crises, including the financial and refugee crises, resulting in the erosion of social ties and a weakened collective identity in these countries. By engaging youth in public dialogue to encourage solidarity and cooperation, the project seeks to build a stronger foundation for EU democratic values and collective identity, countering the disintegration of society and promoting a more united and resilient Europe.

SWINS Project

The SWINS project (Sustainable Well-Being Through Investment in Social Services) aims to trigger a structural rethinking of the role of social services in European societies. It will generate new insights and evidence on the relationship between investment in social services, inclusive and sustainable well-being, and economic growth.

EUROSHIP

Social Platform was a member of the research project ‘Closing gaps in social citizenship. New tools to foster social resilience in Europe’ – also known as EUROSHIP. The overall aim of the EUROSHIP project was to provide an original and gender-sensitive assessment of current gaps in social protection across Europe.  Starting in February 2020, EUROSHIP was a three-year project supported by the EU’s Horizon 2020 research programme. BRIDGE

The Bridge project is short for Building Resilience through Inclusive Democratic Governance and Engagement.

With funding from the Council of Europe, this is a civil society run project that connects people from across Europe, including its most far-flung but equally important Overseas Territories, to speak safely and honestly about democracy, how it feels, what participation really looks like, who gets to shape the rules, and what needs to change to ensure every person in Europe can live in thriving democracies.
