Eurocarers brings together 77 carers’ organizations along with relevant universities and research institutes from 27 countries, forming a unique network that enables evidence-based advocacy. Their network works to ensure that care is valued and that unpaid care is recognized as central to the sustainability of health and long-term care systems. They believe that carers’ expertise and needs are worth listening to and advocate for people’s right to freely choose whether they want to be a carer and the extent to which they want to be involved in caring.
