Since 2003 ‘Taula d’entitats del Tercer Sector Social de Catalunya’ has represented all Catalan social entities, defended social rights and fought to eradicate poverty and exclusion and reduce inequalities in Catalonia.
It brings together 37 federations and large organizations that represent and bring together more than 3,000 non-profit social entities, rooted in the territory. They are associations, foundations, social initiative cooperatives and integration companies that serve people at all stages of life (childhood, adolescence, youth, adulthood and the elderly) and in all areas (poverty and exclusion, housing, socio-labor insertion, health, education, leisure, disability, mental health problems, illnesses, addictions, Roma people and LGTBIQ+ collectives, among others).
It is a declared public utility entity.
