“Made in Social Europe” – Inspiring practices
In November 2017, the European Union’s leaders proclaimed the European Pillar of Social Rights and stressed their united political commitment to achieve a socially and economically fair and just Europe.
Social Platform welcomes the Social Pillar as the right tool to bring about the necessary policy changes to address key trends, such as poverty and social exclusion, job precariousness and in-work poverty, and barriers to accessing social protection. The focus now shifts to how the Social Pillar will be implemented at national level to ensure that the enjoyment of social standards becomes a reality for people across the EU.
Through our members’ national networks we collect inspiring practices to show how social projects, some of which are funded by the EU, give life to the principles of the European Pillar of Social Rights and have a real positive impact on people.
